Function: design solutions

Business Unit created to capture the needs of the healthcare system, work them and deliver surpassing solutions based on value. Two recipients:


B to C: Consulting aimed at end-users. They could be representatives of any sector of the health system, as long as its objective focuses on internal improvements.

B to B: Consulting oriented to users who want to offer a product or service to another stakeholder in the healthcare system. The objective of this type of endeavors is to collaborate in finding the best healthcare market penetration model, based on the principles of the HIVE ecosystem.

Function: stimulate ideas

Business Unit created to evaluate and catalyze all those creative and innovative ideas that have a concrete solution based on a new service or product for our consumers.

Endogenous Model: Focused on the recruiting and attraction of any initiative that arises INSIDE the scope of Universidad Austral. It seeks to prioritize those entrepreneurs, creatives, and enthusiasts who have a specific project with an impact on the health system.

Exogenous Model: Focused on the recruiting and attraction of any initiative that arises OUT of the scope of Universidad Austral. It seeks to offer a unique ecosystem leveraged by the entire Universidad Austral where external enthusiasts can bring their projects and be evaluated in-depth to be successfully implemented in the health system.

Business Unit created to bring together and consolidate the entire neural network of stakeholders in one place. We understand that the transformation of

the health system is happening and survival to change is through collaborative innovation.

Baseline: Awareness programs on the problem and possible solutions.

Middle Management: Seeks to train and offer tools to professionals who are already working in the sector.

Top Management: Aims to transform the vision of decision-makers. We seek to generate programs and activities that allow us to ensure a protected time to think beyond the current situation and seek substantive solutions.

Function: keep the unity at The HIVE

The last Business Unit responds to the need to bring all parties closer together to provide a work and collaboration space that allows generating those ideas that

will transform the healthcare sector. We are building a structure that offers not only The HIVE headquarters but also workspaces where all stakeholders can settle in and accelerate the relationship between them.
In addition to the physical space we have a virtual space that allows all stakeholders of the different programs, projects, and start-ups to be related and work collaboratively and up to date concerning all relevant developments.

Ecosistema

Hospital Universitario Austral has focused on positioning itself within the local and regional sector as a benchmark institution in terms of technological forefront, quality and safety of its services, professional training and scientific contribution to the Healthcare community.

Innovation is part of the institutional DNA being one of the strategic competitive advantages that have managed to position the hospital among the most recognized institutions at the local and regional level.
All these achievements have been achieved with only 18 years of age, competing with centuries-old and larger institutions. Additionally, Austral University complements all of these generating an ideal ecosystem based on a unique combination of capabilities to innovate.


Some of its milestones:


  • 100% Computerized Hospital: HUA was the first national hospital to have, since its inception, an electronic medical record, revolutionizing the current model of the time.

  • JCI accreditation: First internationally accredited hospital in quality and patient safety.

  • National leader in highly complex programs such as: liver and marrow transplants, intrauterine surgery, fetal medicine, etc.
